As time goes on and Adobe gets it's support running for it's entire suite to be native to M1, things will get even faster. You can run the other apps with the built in Rosetta 2 and still get better performance than running it natively on a non M1 chip mac. Audition, Samplitude, Digital Performer, Mixcraft, Edius, others. One of the only things to consider is that not all adobe apps have a native M1 version yet. Compatible Windows and Mac OS pluginable software: REAPER, Ableton Live. You'll be absolutely fine, without question. The M1 Imac itself is 56% faster than it's predecessor.ฤก6GB is also the max the new IMacs have. The 2017 Imac has a geekbench 5 score of like 900/3100 Single / Multi core and the M1 chip Imac is like 1700/7500. If you're already using Adobe on your current mac, you're in for a treat, too. It works much better than you'd expect, and I guarantee I'm asking that computer to do move than most people on here.
